I didn’t finish my third book this month
The book I’m currently reading is a bit strange. Well, no, a lot strange. I guess I’ll write about it next month when I finally finish it.

The book I’m currently reading is a bit strange. Well, no, a lot strange. I guess I’ll write about it next month when I finally finish it.

It’s been two weeks since the first day of the writing retreat I attended in Portugal. I jumped right back into work upon arriving from a 24-hour journey back home a couple of days ago, so I haven’t really quite processed the experience yet. But I wanted to chronicle it somewhere.

It’s been a year since I last wrote something here and I don’t know how to reboot this thing. So here’s a little something I wrote fresh off my dream trip to Paris in May last year. May or may not have been inspired by true events but mostly just me daydreaming. The illustration is very real though. Drawn on a lazy afternoon with an obstructed view of the Eiffel Tower from Carette where I had heaps of chantilly in my chocolat chaud and a slice of the most delicious pistachio cake. I have so many stories from that trip but I will need another minute. For now, a cute little story.

I love traveling with people who can adjust schedules, not worry about missing plans, etc. Get you friends who can do that and you’ll never worry about enjoying on a trip.

I guess restarting this space is also an attempt at memory keeping. I’m always forgetting and the older I get, the more I don’t remember as well as before. Here are some favorites from January, which was both long and slow if that even were possible.

I feel like I’ve probably forgotten a lot of the places we visited but I wanted to write what I could remember, so I can come back to it. I can’t wait to go back and explore a different part of Japan. Where should I go next?
